Job Description

An international company, which focuses its values on Client, Person and Professional Development, seeks to incorporate a Planning and Control Manager.The workplace is at the company’s offices in BIlbao, Barcelona or Madrid.You will join a multidisciplinary and multicultural group, in a collaborative and teamwork environment.The company offers:

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the implementation of the project control plan, including project scheduling, cost control, and risk management strategies.
  2. Reviewing the different stakeholders Project Work Breakdown Structure and Project Execution Schedule. In the same way, reviewing and approving required Recovery Plans to keep the project on track.
  3. Assuring the Project Progress Control System is clearly implemented by all stakeholders and reviewing it is strictly followed by them in the Project Reporting deliverables and in the Invoicing Process.
  4. Monitoring project progress and identifying potential deviations from the project plan and implementing corrective actions when needed.
  5. Reviewing the tracking system and coordinating the reporting to the Owner of the project Account status.
  6. Receiving all invoices concerning the Project, verifying them and arranging the payment as described in the relevant procedures.
  7. Keeping register of all payments and updating the Project Cashflow accordingly.
  8. Developing and maintaining project status reports, including project cost, schedule, and risk analysis, and presenting them to the Client and other stakeholders as required.
  9. Ensuring that the project meets all applicable regulatory requirements and that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
  10. Developing and implementing quality control plans to ensure that project deliverables meet the Client’s requirements and specifications.
  11. Collaborating with all the stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks and manage change requests when necessary.
  12. Supporting all the stakeholders to implement all Owner’s procedures, applicable codes and standards and common practice rules related to Planning and Controls discipline.
  13. Facilitating communication and collaboration among project team members and ensuring that project objectives are understood and met.
  14. Developing Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports, along with correspondent dashboards to present the data in a graphical system.

Requirements: 

  1. Engineering degree or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5 Years experience.
  3. Experience in cost control.
  4. Advanced knowledge of Scheduling computer tools (Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft Project)
  5. Microsoft office.
  6. Advanced English.
